On October 22, Colorfix successfully completed its second ISCC PLUS external audit, conducted by the certifier QIMA/IBD, consolidating an important step toward strengthening its traceability and sustainability strategy.

First certified in 2024, Colorfix integrated the ISCC PLUS (International Sustainability & Carbon Certification) system with the aim of ensuring the traceability of sustainable raw materials, promoting transparency in supply chains, and supporting the circular economy in the plastics sector. “Since then, we have evolved in the application of the methodology, in the engagement of the areas, and in the improvement of the internal controls required by the certification,” highlights Certifications and Environment Manager Jackeline Campello.

During the recertification audit, several strengths were highlighted by the auditors, such as:

• Effective control of ISCC material inputs and outputs;
•    Correct and updated mass balance calculations;
•    Verification and archiving of valid certificates for sustainable raw materials;
•    Strict management of service providers and chain partners;
•    Practical and updated application of the Code of Conduct required by the certification;
•    Compliance with applicable environmental and social legislation;
•    Conducting robust and well-structured internal audits;
•    Consistent handling of internal non-conformities;
•    Correct use of ISCC logos on documents and products;
•    Commitment from all sectors at all audited stages.

“After the applicable checks and adjustments, the recommendation for recertification was successfully issued. This result reinforces the maturity of Colorfix's management system in relation to international sustainability criteria and demonstrates how much we have evolved since the first certification,” explains Jackeline.

In practice, this certification opens doors to supplying increasingly demanding markets that are committed to sustainability.
